Semi-finished blades inlayed with steel
Millions of tons of specialized blades are manufactured by our factory annually.
Our company has completed 80% of the manufacturing process beforehand ; all you need to do is to finish the remaining 20% . What is more , you get 80% of the added value , while we obtainonly 20% of the remuneration for our efforts . Our products are ideal for you to sell as a distributor , or to buy for your personal use.

Note: We are happy to provide the techniques and equipment which are required for manufacturing finished products if you desire .

Our factory manufactures bladesnlaid

with steel as well as traditional blades.

1 Material : HSS,D2 or TC
Hardness : HSS60-63°
D2 57-61° / TC89-92°
2 Material : SS41
Hardness : HRC18-20
3 Material : D2
Hardness : 55-57
(With this hardness , blades do not snap easily)

The size and specifications of semi-finished blades are as follows :

A comparison between blades with inlaid steel and blades with full steel :
Type
Material
Hardness
Wear-
Resistance
Toughness
Price
Strong Points
Weak Points
D2
Full Steel
D2
HRC
55°~57°
1. The material is easy
to procure.
2. The manufacturing
process is simple.
1. The cost is high.
2. It is liable to snap,
and dangerous.
3. It has low friction
resistance.
4. It can't be
reprocessed.
TKD538
Inlaid
with Steel
SS41+D2
(5Tx38w)
HRC
57°~61°

1. The hardness is twice
as strong as that of D2.
2. The friction resistance
is 1.5 times that of D2.
3. The material price is
only 70% that of D2.
4. The malleability is
high , and the blades
can be reprocessed
easily.
D2 has high hardness, while SS41 has low hardness. If the bladeis used in striking action
mode, the blade must be made thicker to prevent it from becoming crooked.
THS325
Inlaid
with Steel
SS41+HSS
(3Tx25w)
HRC
60°~63°

1. It has good hardness
and friction resistance.
2. Its malleability is good
, and the blade can be
reprocessed.
3. The price is low.
The blade is easily broken. This type of blade should therefore be used in a small-impact working environment only.
TCT
Inlaid
with Steel
S45C+TC
HA
89°~92°

It has excellent friction
resistance.
Since the blade hardnessis very high , cracks easilywhen used to cut highmaterials.

The hardness noted above is in a proper hardness range for manufacturing blades , but not the maximum hardness of the steel.
Inlaid steel provides the most appropriate hardness for manufacturing blades , and is used by our factory . Because a low hardness of SS41 is applied to the handle , it does not snap easily , and at the same time the hardness of the blade is enhanced.
Regarding the type "TKD538" , the initials "TKD" indicate that the blade is inlaid with Steel D2 , while the "538" indicates that the blade is 5 mm(thickness) x 38mm(width).

The series of semi-finished inlaid steel blades manufactured to rigorous standards by our plant feature high friction resistance and high toughness , at a low price . They are ideal for use in working environments with heavy hitting force , such as plastic crusher knife or wood chipper knife .
The table above provides a comparison of physical data of inlaid steel and full steel blades.
The figures shown below are test results for viscosity and toughness.
Our products are hardened in the blade (about HRC 59°) and not hardened in the handle (about HRC 18°) . It can thus be cut easily to the desired length , and can also be drilled and processed .
These are the most advanced and practical semi-finished blades currently available anywhere in the world .

A comparison of toughness between full steel and inlaid steel :
After hitting the D2 blade (hardness of 57°) hard , although it has low hardness, it still breaks off, causing danger.
Hitting the blade ridge of
inlaid steel .
After hitting the bladeridge of inlaid steel hard, the blade has become crooked, whereas the blade ridge is still firmly glued .

Before testing
Hitting the blade body hard
After hitting the TKD538 blade (hardness of 59°)hard , although the bladehas high hardness , due to the high toughness ofthe inlaid steel blade, the blade has only becomecrooked .
